Other clothes for small felt dolls.

Mini doll in kimonoBack style
I printed flower patterns on kimono with handmade seal and Ceramcoat (acrylic).

Boy

Girl in one-piecePurple dress.

When patching 2 sheets of felt, it needs seam allowance at one side (e.g. yoke, border, or stand collar). The seam allowance is 1/10 inch.

Pattern seller

I received a message about someone selling my pattern.

Wendy wrote :
I just saw someone on etsy.com selling the pattern for your mini Santa and Reindeer. Here is the link to the shop:

www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=34910352

The seller's name is fairyfox.

I just thought you should know, because it is not fair that someone should ask money for something that you have been generous enough to give away for free.

I saw that page and I too think it is unfair.
But this case may be one of many.
Anyone can sell things picked up on the web. It is easy.
But it will bring him into disrepute.

I expect social conscience correct and punish sly people.

My mini Santa is here.

White cat

Simple stuffed cat which is trial work. 19 centimetres height.
Its head is almost the same as Ragdoll kitten, and the body is similar as terry cat.

White cat

I put polyethylene wires in it. And it can stand and sit or lie.

Lying

Blue eyes

An aluminium wire is easy to be bent, but it often break. Broken wires are dangerous.
Polyethylene rarely snaps. But it is difficult to keep bending.

So I've put both in Norwegian Forest Cat.

Bear box

This bear reliefed box was designed by Kazukiyo Kurosu, a paper craft artist.
I saw it in his book.

The box has openings (lack), but it is something interesting.

Teddy bear box

Cut such paper, then fold and assemble.

Assemble

Draw eyes and nose with felt-tip pen.
The bear doesn't need glue. But when making the box, use glue.

Origami box 2

Origami box
Hard version of origami box.
This is difficult to fold. The bottom is treble, so it's rather strong.

This method can be applied to polygonal boxes.
If you see books about origami box, you will find various boxes and details of making.

Toadstool

Mushroom of felt. 2 - 7 centimetres.
Mushroom

An example of making.
Toadstool

Cut cloth (felt). Only the back of the cap is thin cotton cloth.
Cutting

Make the rectangle to a circle by gathering.
Gills

The back is smaller than the upper.
Parts

Sew and turn inside out.
Stuff polyester fiberfill in cap and stipe.
Stuff

Sew the stipe to the cap.
Upside down

Glue the small dots on the cap.
If you omit the gills, it is easier. Use a circle of felt at the back.
Simple

Another example --- mushroom (not toadstool).
